Draw Something

Getting seriously addicted to this wonderful app. Takes skill to convey the word into a drawing. LOL! If you’re keen to showoff your artistic/drawing skills to your friends while having some fun, this app just might be a solution. Or maybe it’s just something to pass the time while at the same time enjoying a game with your friends.

Draw Something was developed by OMGPOP and released for the iOS and Android markets in February 2012. It was one of the apps that won the Flurry App Spotlight Awards in 2012. In the first five weeks after its launch, the game was reportedly downloaded 20 million times. Wow!

You start out with just four colors, but with each correct guess, you and your drawing partner earn coins – 1, 2, or 3, depending on the difficulty – and it goes without saying that 3-coin guesses are relatively “harder” (both to guess and draw). With enough coins, you can purchase color packages for more options and more aesthetic drawings! You also start out with five bombs. These bombs can be used to knock out some of the useless letters to make it easier to guess. Again, you can use your hard-earned coins to purchase bombs. You can use real money as well to buy more coins, but why take shortcuts?

It’s always funny to watch your drawing partner guess the word you drew – you can see their guesses (both correct and incorrect ones) and their attempts to rearrange the letters – and draw their word for you to guess.

Can you guess these drawings?
