Things You Don’t Notice: Twitter’s ‘View Media’ Feature

I almost never go to the Web version of Twitter – I only ever go there when I want to update some things that are not available or hard to do in the mobile/tablet version. But today, I decided to logon to check out my recent blog about the new Apple iPad.

And what do I find? A little feature call “View media” and having never seen it before, I click on the URL and out comes this short clip of the first part of my blog! Very nifty feature. I like it (this isn’t in the iPad app, ironically). Might start using the Web version some more if I’m going tweetsurfing and I don’t have time to read the full article posted – will definitely come in handy to have a preview of the article.

There are also versions for photos and videos.

  1. Why dont we get this option ‘View Media’ for all tweets?
It is visible for only some of the tweets, why is this behaviour?
